Life in the seminary is a unique blend of spiritual discipline, academic rigor, and community formation. It is a journey that shapes not only the mind of a student but also the heart, character, and calling.
Seminary research is a disciplined, spiritually-informed academic pursuit that seeks to deepen understanding of Scripture, theology, church history, ministry practice, and the lived Christian experience.
Seminary athletics plays an increasingly important role in shaping well-rounded ministers who embody discipline, teamwork, and holistic stewardship of the body God has given.
Seminary academics form the intellectual backbone of ministerial preparation. They provide a structured environment where students engage deeply with Scripture, theology, history, and practical ministry
LIFE Theological Seminary (LIFE), started as an open-air Bible school for the training of men and women for practical Christian ministry. The school was founded by Reverend and Mrs. Harold Curtis, American Foursquare missionaries to Nigeria, in 1955, at a rented space in King George Avenue, now Herbert Macaulay Street, Yaba. The school later metamorphosed into a night Bible school shortly after the Foursquare Gospel Church in Nigeria was inaugurated. Day classes were first held at the campus in Ikorodu in 1958, following Reverend Curtis' ingenuity and tenacity to see the school grow into a full-fledged Bible school in an ambient location.
The Master of Arts in Theology (MA Theology) is a graduate-level academic program designed to deepen a student's understanding of the Christian faith
The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) is the highest academic degree awarded by universities, representing advanced scholarship, original research, and a significant contribution to knowledge in a specific field.

Open and Distance e-Learning (ODeL) is transforming the future of education by bringing high-quality learning directly to you—no matter where you are.
This is the core of campus life—lectures, assignments, projects, group discussions, and intellectual growth. But don't romanticize it: campus academics demand discipline, critical thinking, and self-motivation far more than secondary school. You manage your own time, and no one chases you.
Campus is a social ecosystem—hostels, friendships, fellowships, clubs, cultural groups, and sometimes conflict. Assumption to question: Some think “campus friends become lifelong friends.” Not always—campus exposes you to diverse people, but many relationships fade after graduation.
Campus life forces you into adulthood. You manage your own time, money, decisions, and consequences. Developing independence, Time and financial management, Exploring career interests, Building emotional maturity and Learning responsibility and consequences
